Ae Kai Yang Wichianburi in Doi Saket is a warm and welcoming family-run restaurant that truly captures the charm of local Thai dining. The place may look simple, but it’s packed with flavor and heart. The highlight here is definitely the grilled chicken, juicy, tender, and crispy on the outside, perfectly marinated and cooked over charcoal. The tamarind dipping sauce is absolutely delicious and complements the chicken perfectly, adding a sweet and tangy balance to every bite. Other dishes are just as impressive. The som tam (papaya salad) is fresh, spicy, and full of flavor, while the larb and spicy liver salad are rich and aromatic. Prices are very affordable, and portions are generous, making it great value for money. The restaurant is often full of locals, which is always a good sign.
