一度目は祭りのため貸切、二度目はGoogleで11:00Openと書いてあったので11:00に行ったら 11時30分からと言われた。 看板メニューの黒麦うどん？そば？も粉が仕入れ出来ないから出せないとなっている。 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Service: 1

お食事処 いなかや @ Narai-juku 奈良井宿, Nagano We visited お食事処 いなかや on 13 November 2025, and it was a cozy, traditional spot that fits perfectly with the nostalgic atmosphere of Narai-juku. The restaurant is small, with only a few tables, giving it a warm and homely feeling. The place is run by an elderly couple, who handle everything — cooking, taking orders, serving drinks, cleaning, and payment. Despite being busy, they were kind, patient, and very welcoming. Before we ordered, they politely informed us that the waiting time would be 20 minutes or more, which we appreciated. We ordered the tempura soba, and it was comforting and flavourful — fragrant soba with freshly fried tempura, perfect for the cool autumn weather. It’s also helpful to note that many restaurants in Narai-juku close around 4 PM, so it’s best to plan your meal earlier in the day. Inakaya is a great option if you are exploring the village around lunchtime. A charming and heartfelt little eatery, ideal for a simple and delicious traditional meal while experiencing the Edo-style streets of Narai-juku.
