Absolutely amazing restaurant! I cycled 45 minutes just to have dinner here and was so glad I came - it's delicious, cute and beautiful. The bright restaurant has some beautiful Japanese artwork on the walls and feels like a real little Japanese biotope, down to the admonition in the menu to "wait patiently" for the food. And worth waiting for it is!!! The Angus beef was smooth like butter and made to perfection. The rest was a surprise - and I really appreciated that the kind owner presented me with an English translation of the many side dishes they had prepared for me. Besides the rice, the excellent plum vinegar and the incredibly yummy truffled chicken soup (with a nice wing in it) there were four side dishes plus dessert. Everything was really lovely - in fact, this was the first time ever I really enjoyed seaweed salad - the quality was so high that it didn't taste fishy at all, and the yuzu dressing was so refreshing and delicious! And all in all it actually ended up being a pretty quick meal. So this is definitely worth a detour and a fabulous deal!!!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I love the location of this restaurant—tucked into a charming little alley. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. What stood out most was the chef’s thoughtfulness. We forgot to mention that one of us doesn’t eat mushrooms, and he went out of his way to prepare an additional soup to accommodate us—without us even asking. That level of hospitality made the whole experience feel warm and truly welcoming. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
