ランチで利用。刺身定食を注文。値段の割にボリュームがあってコスパが良い。ただ、刺身の鮮度はあまり良くなかったです。また、喫煙可な為タバコ臭いのが嫌でした。店主の接客はぶっきらぼうな感じでした。 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

I love 五合庵 because the place is cosy, very warm and welcoming and you can see the soul of the owner in every aspect of the restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxing and it feels like you can really relax and be yourself when you are in that space. Ordered the pork with wild vegetables, yakisoba, tempura and kaarage and everything was 100% on point. Yakisoba was delicious and kaarage was very juicy, but my favorite has to be the vegetables because it was so savory and full of flavour and the tempura was so well made; the batter was light and fluffy with the squid still so soft and tender as well. It was perfect. If I were staying in Niigata as a resident, I would make 五合庵 my regular go-to place to relax and unwind on a weekend every week. I watched baseball and a Showa era drama together with the owner while eating and it was a very comfortable feeling Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
