金谷の国道からやや細い道を上がるところにあり自宅兼お店は古民家の風情があります。お庭では2匹の真っ白なネコちゃんがお出迎え、人なっこくてモフモフし放題です（笑）自園でつくるお茶は大変美味しくいただけます。

Visited 令和七年六月 An idyllic tea house accessible from Shizuoka run by a sweet old couple and their son. Opted to try a little something different on this trip to Japan and it was such a nice change! Sakyo ojisan and his wife were very patient with my friend and me, despite my fledgling and rusty Japanese, we got by with the help of mobile translators. Got to hear about the tea farming process, difficulties with the tea industry (e.g. urban rural migration) and was blown away when I found out that Sakyo Tea Farm is a 13th generation Edo-era establishment!!!?? The tea was exquisite, especially as Sakyo tea farm spécialisés in cold brew tea - they occupy a premium niche in the market, producing freshly harvested Shincha (new tea) that can be cold-brewed in just 2 minutes!! It was pretty much all you can drink during our stay there and we got to also try their hojicha and black tea offerings - so rich and intense! My only regret was that we allocated one night here and left the next morning, but there was a storm ongoing from the moment we arrived till the morning! Would have loved to be able to properly tour the tea farm in the sun and have more time here to do activities such as tea rolling. I will most certainly be back and I wish the Sakyo family all the very best! I will treasure the memories and of course the limited supplies of fresh tea I bought! ホーさん Service: 5
