Had dinner with my family and the service was really awesome. The staff were so nice, patient, and attentive throughout our meal. The food was really delicious too. We had a great experience and would definitely come back again Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a fantastic experience at Nong Geng Ji! The food really stood out — authentic Hunan flavors with a great balance of spice, fragrance, and depth. Every dish we tried was well-executed, especially the signature stir-fries and claypot dishes, which were rich, bold, and incredibly satisfying. What impressed me most was the consistency and quality of the ingredients — everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The spice level is punchy but not overwhelming, so you can still enjoy the natural flavors of the dishes. Service was also attentive and efficient, even during busy periods. Staff were helpful with recommendations and made sure everything flowed smoothly. Overall, a great spot if you’re craving proper 湘菜 (Hunan cuisine) with strong flavors and good wok hei. Definitely a place I’d come back to and recommend to friends. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $20–30

Enjoyed our lunch here. Liked the sourkraut soup and chicken with dried chilli. Flavour similar to what I tried in XiAn in Hunan. Manager gave us some crackers to eat first as my wife was hungry - nice. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Parking space: Plenty of parking
