Food was pretty decent! But the service was like a rollercoaster! There was one waitress who was really polite and courteous and helped us everytime she passed. But everyone else felt like it was their main goal to get us out of the restaurant as fast as possible with the least amount of decent human interaction. Ignoring us, waving impatiently for us to hand over our used bowls, asking 'are you done with this?' like it was a factory assembly line and not a restaurant... I understand that we were a larger group with grumpy teenagers, but that doesn't exempt us from having a nice meal with proper service. Aside from the great waitress I mentioned, we felt so rushed to finish our food that we refrained from getting more than 1 refill of sides. And we weren't even ordering refills for every single person either. Just 2-3 each of the soup and rice. Even the salad, despite only getting a single bowl for 6 people, we only asked for 1 more refill because everyone was only able to get a tiny amount when divided evenly. And having refillable rice/soup/salad is one of their main draws! So what's even the point of coming here when they seem so reluctant to deliver the incentive? There are plenty of other tonkatsu restaurants in Taipei that I can't recommend coming to this one. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NT$400–600 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
