I was recommended here for the braised pig trotter and minced pork rice. The minced pork rice (ru rou fan) is good. The minced meat is cooked nicely. There is more fats than meat which gave it a good aroma and taste but can be a bit too oily/fatty in the mouth. The braised pig trotter is really fatty. Almost no meat left on the trotter just bones, a bit of meat, plenty of fats and skin. It's good if you like this dish, but too much if you don't like it. Unlike Singapore's version which is quite dark, this is just about brownish colour and the flavour is not as heavy as compared to Singapore's but a bit lighter. Pairs well with rice definitely. Coffeeshop settling but restaurant price. Although the food is not bad, I felt this was the most expensive meal I had in Taiwan (not from the price pov but from value pov).
