Please do not go to this restaurant. My family wanted lunch at Kwai Chung Plaza and I noticed a restaurant I hadn’t tried tbefore with seats to eat in. We saw other than the regular meal they had Japanese-style egg sandwiches for sale, which my son loves, so I told him we could order one. Right away, a tall guy working there (around 30+} overheard and said the sandwiches were takeaway only and couldn’t be eaten in. We were a bit surprised, since we were planning to order meals as well. We were confused why we can't order the sandwich together with the meal. He just repeated they were only for takeaway and it's company policy. He also said to us if you eat in there would be a 10% service charge. When my husband mentioned the if it's just about the 10% service charge? The guy got pretty defensive. He looked annoyed and told us, “Ok, three of you, right? We don’t have seats right now, please wait outside.” Honestly, it felt like he assumed we were only going to order the sandwich and didn’t want us taking a table. Even if that was the case, there was no reason to be that rude about it. We ended up leaving without waiting. Between the confusing policy and the attitude, we didn’t feel like eating there. Normally I don’t write reviews, but this time it just felt worth mentioning — sometimes the service really does spoil the whole experience. Attitude, sometimes, is far more important than the food quality. More importantly, we didn’t want our son to sit through a meal where to have him wonder why people can be so needlessly unkind.
