flaky crust egg tart (HKD 4) was fragrant and crust was flaky. wonderful texture combination. 4.5/5 pineapple bun with red bean filling (HKD 6.5): fluffy bun, crispy top, ample filling. red bean bun (HKD 6.5): similar to the above without the pineapple bun sweet crispy top. go for the pineapple one. 3.5/5 salted egg yolk lotus seed paste pastry (HKD 6): generous amounts of filling, decent sized salted egg yolk, crispy outer shell, fragrant lotus seed paste, balanced sweetness. 4.5/5 visit(s): 20220326 20220320

This shop in the alley been around for awhile. Lots of selections and good prices. Got the egg balls (literal translation) 3 for $20. That's the round balls right next to the donuts in the picture. Not many bakeries have this item.

Feb 22: the shop helper is good service and nice, breads are fresh. I bought pineapple bun and French-style bread. Price is reasonable. I love and tried many different pineapple buns, but taste of this one is mediocre.
