We ordered an espresso and a winter melon iced latte. There was only one bean option available for the espresso, described as a medium-light roast. To our taste, however, it leaned more toward a darker roast and had a slightly bitter finish. It was also served without a saucer or spoon, which felt a bit unusual. The winter melon iced latte was very different from what we expected. Apart from a subtle sweetness with slightly vegetal notes, it mostly tasted like cold milk. It wasn’t unpleasant, but it definitely wasn’t what we had anticipated. The staff was friendly and happy to chat with us. We appreciated the recommendations and enjoyed talking to the barista. A special mention goes to the team for noticing that the espresso wasn’t really what we had expected based on the description. They ended up offering it free of charge, which was a thoughtful gesture and showed genuine attentiveness. The café itself offered plenty of seating. To get there, you need to take the exterior staircase up to the upper floor of the building. The only thing that didn’t quite fit our taste was the rock music playing in the background.
