Wow, way way better than expected!!!! Food was excellent! Got the baked oysters, spicy stir fry intestine, black beans spicy snails, mapo tofu, and spicy beef. The atmosphere and service was great like other mentioned. Our waitress was promoting Tsingtao and had couple sip with us. They were very accommodating, especially since we spoke 0 local language. Oysters - phenomenal! Got garlic and pepper topping. It was huge! Size of my 8yr old fist. He ended up eating 3 of the 4 we ordered. Snails - was so good, we got 2 orders. Our 10yr old ate the whole 1st portion. Mapo Tofu - so good. Nothing we taste in the US. Other 2 dish was great. Heck, even the spicy peanuts they gave as service sitting snack was good. Will go again! Price per person: HK$50–100

囍囍川菜燒烤: Spicy Roasted Fish with Mixed Results in Mong Kok 囍囍川菜燒烤 in Mong Kok offers a lively Sichuan‑style dining experience, and the signature spicy roasted fish hotpot was the highlight of the meal. The fish itself was tasty, cooked well, and soaked up the fragrant, spicy broth nicely. However, the side dish of luncheon meat was disappointing. The texture revealed a low meat content with more starch than expected, and considering the relatively high price for just a few slices, it didn’t feel worth it. We also tried a selection of skewers, which turned out quite good—flavorful, savory, and perfect as beer snacks. They added a fun and satisfying element to the meal.
