Jimoto Sakaba is a small izakaya hidden in one of the older buildings in Causeway Bay. The restaurant is small and not particularly comfortable. Food is not at all cheap, but quality is very inconsistent. Most of the yakitori dishes are chewy, including the Ox Tongue (HK$58), Chicken Skin (HK$26), Chicken Gizzard (HK$24), and Angus Ribeye (HK$58). Stay away from the smelly Chicken Tail (HK$48). The best yakitori are the juicy Pork Belly (HK$38) and Chicken Neck (HK$28). While the promotional buy-1-get-1 Sapporo Premium Draft Beer (HK$88/glass) might sound like a good deal, HK$44/glass is considered expensive during Happy Hour!
