As a tourist visiting Hong Kong, I was excited to try this restaurant due to its popularity. Unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. While the food and drinks weren't the issue, the customer service was unacceptable and carried strong undertones of discrimination against non-locals. I ordered an egg tart and a lemonade at the kiosk and received an English receipt. After waiting for 30 minutes without receiving my order, I went to the kitchen to check with the staff. Despite a language barrier, the chef directed me to the cashier. When I showed the cashier my receipt, she unexpectedly refused to accept it because it was printed in English, demanding the Chinese version instead. Confused but wanting my food, I went back to the kiosk, found the Chinese receipt, and waited in line all over again. When I finally reached her, she pointedly told me to take it to the chef, adding with a hostile attitude, "Why don't you understand? Just bring this Chinese receipt to the chef.". The two receipts shared the exact same order number, total bill, and proof of payment. There was absolutely no operational reason to make the process this difficult. If you are a foreigner visiting Hong Kong, I highly recommend avoiding this establishment. There are plenty of wonderful, welcoming alternatives nearby—like Café de Coral—where you will be treated with respect. I will never return here, and I urge other travelers to skip it to avoid long waits and hostile treatment. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1 Order type: Dine in

Overall, would come back if I just had the munchies and wanted something palatable in my belly. The place is a classic “food for the masses.” Quick, warm, and nourishing. Taste? It was rather bland (we had sweet sour pork and General Tso). All the locals and day laborers come here to eat. Very clean place though some other reviews mention concerns regarding bathrooms. Did not use them. 2 stars for service because it’s just the minimum you expect. Not necessarily a bad thing. Self serve kiosks in addition to counter cashier. Credit cards are okay. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
