The fried dumplings and eggplant were delicious. I wish we ordered more. Perfectly juicy. However the boiled dumplings were overcooked and watery. Price per person: ₩1–10,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I’m a firm believer that if you travel somewhere, you MUST eat the food from that place and from that place only to experience the gastronomic scene at its fullest. But somehow, I ended up in Korea, on an island, at this Chinese restaurant, and I do not regret contradicting my own beliefs. The food was amazing, and the mapo tofu was the best I’ve ever had in my life (and I eat a lot of Chinese food). You could taste the Sichuan peppercorn and it was the perfect amount of spicy. The dumplings also had a very good amount of filling and tasted so comforting. I encourage everyone to try this place if you have the chance! Meal type: Dinner

It’s a fun place to go, and the food is very authentically Chinese—the mabo tofu I had was quite similar to what I had in Chongshin (Chongxin) when I was there. Their authentic Szechuan peppercorns added that tongue and lip numbing (literally) element that, along with the unique flavor. The dumplings were good, too. I particularly enjoyed watching the kitchen at work from the front dining area and don’t think I would have been as happy in the rear dining area. Service was offered with a smile . Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
