I have to go there on a weekly basis, either for the fried pork chop curry soup which is absolutely fantastic or the fried pork chop rice with eggs. However, I miss the fried tofu as a side dish, the one they currently have are not so special anymore Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I recently visited 滑蛋猪排饭, a pork cutlet (tonkatsu) restaurant, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. If you’re a fan of crispy, golden-brown pork cutlets, this place is a must-visit! The tonkatsu was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside with a light, crunchy panko coating, while the inside remained incredibly juicy and tender. I ordered the rosu katsu (fatty loin cutlet), and the balance of crispiness and rich flavor was simply amazing. My friend opted for the hire katsu (lean fillet cutlet), which was equally delicious and had a more delicate texture.

The food was flavorful and the prices were surprisingly affordable. The restaurant itself gives a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, with Japanese pop music playing softly in the background. I opted for the Pan Fried Steak Curry (Extra Spicy), and while the steak, cut into bite-sized pieces, wasn't particularly memorable, the curry itself was exceptional – easily one of the best Japanese curries I've ever tasted. I suspect the hot peppers added a unique tangy flavor that really elevated the dish. To top it off, the service was incredibly efficient; my meal arrived within seven minutes of ordering.
