Had a fantastic late dinner at 山海經小酒館 in Tsuen Wan with my sister, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip. Even though we arrived quite late in the evening, the staff were very accommodating and allowed us to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. The sushi platter was excellent, with fresh, high-quality seafood and beautiful presentation. The standout of the evening was the 象拔蚌 (geoduck sashimi), which was incredibly fresh, sweet, and had a wonderful texture. Another highlight was the 銀鱈魚西京燒 (Saikyo grilled cod), which was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. We also tried several skewers, all of which were delicious and complemented the meal well. The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, the food quality exceeded expectations, and the service was friendly despite our late arrival. Overall, a wonderful dining experience in Tsuen Wan.
