I had an amazing time at Hau Hing Noodle. It's highly rated for a reason – I ordered the beef tendon noodle soup, and I have to say it was one of the best soups I've had in HK! I loved the broth and the tendon, too! On the other hand, the fried noodles were a bit disappointing - they were a bit bland with not a lot of taste, as expected from a fried noodles dish, but they were still not that bad and contained many vegetables which is always a nice touch. The dumplings (beef and pork & cabbage) were tasty. The soy milk was nicely refreshing. I'd definitely come again for the noodle soup and also for the atmosphere! It's a very local place, as they don't have an English menu and the owner doesn't speak English either. She was really nice and kind, though, and tried her best to help. We were lucky that an English-speaking local helped us choose our food, as Google Translate isn't always reliable. I'm definitely planning to come back!
