Hidden gem in Kwun Tong — they claim to serve the best fried chicken in Hong Kong. Their signature is the whole fried chicken, and you can literally see the juices spilling out as soon as I tear the meat apart. Definitely a value‑for‑money meal! I decided to give it a try, and luckily, I didn't have to wait for a table since I went around 4:30 PM. However, I found the atmosphere and service quite disappointing. I ordered the signature dish—a chicken priced at $198. When the dish arrived, my expectations were high, but I was left feeling rather let down after tasting it. The chicken skin was overly salty, completely overshadowing the natural flavor of the meat, which was also quite bland and lacking in tenderness. Overall, this dining experience felt unworthy of the price. While it might have been an isolated incident, such performance makes it hard for me to look forward to a return visit. If the signature dish is this mediocre, I can only imagine how the other dishes fare. In comparison, the "Qiang Hong" in Wan Chai excels far beyond in both flavor and service. In the end, I can only give this dining experience a score of 3/10—it truly falls short. Although there are many recommendations on Instagram, I personally cannot endorse it. I hope they can improve; otherwise, this spot will likely be replaced by other restaurants soon.
