After an hour of queuing, I finally got my hands on the shrimp soup noodle — and I'm happy to say it was worth the wait. I half expected this place to be all hype or a tourist trap, but it proved me wrong. The soup is incredibly fragrant and creamy, with the shrimp flavor really coming through. Not fishy at all. A pleasant surprise was that the shrimp came peeled — as someone who never wants to peel their own shrimp, this was a big win. The shrimp itself is marinated in Chinese wine, which beautifully brings out its natural sweetness. The ramen was cooked al dente and paired perfectly with the rich broth. I also ordered a side of abalone. I'm not usually a fan, but I will say it wasn't chewy, which I appreciated. It would have been even better if it had been sliced. My recommendation: don't skip the egg, and add an extra side of shrimp. I'd definitely come back again. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$150–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Shrimp soup base ramen You get 3 shrimps for the standard orders, they were cold when served but tasted good. The soup was hot and thick and definitely very shrimpy tasted, however, could be a little smoother and use more filtering. To me, though delicious, the sensation of the soup was a bit on the rough side. Service was excellent They were very understanding and even offered me a free bowl of rice with Sakura ebi dried shrimp to finish up the soap. Cash-only!! Bring you cash! Coz there ain't no bank or ATM around the place within 1km. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$100–150 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: None
