Air-conditioned indoor seating for about fifty with private lot back of property for about five vehicles plus roadside parking. Decorated with an assortment of oldies from the 50's - 60's periods, including a trio of modern iteration of nostalgic Tatung figurines. Restaurant exterior surrounded with decorative vegetation and a tiny minnow / turtle pond. Very fresh seafood and no MSG (without asking). Menu ranging from fresh seafood to wild board meat with many items portioned to suit lone dinner. All dishes sampled were extremely fresh, savory, mid-seasoned and not reliant on sugar or MGS for flavoring. Deep-fried squid were lightly battered and cooked in very clean oil, resulting in crisp outside with tender center and not greasy (barely any stain on underlying absorbent paper). Sakura shrimp fried rice is among the best I had in years, with generous serving of shrimp and distinct rice grain separation without being greasy. All variety of dished served on other tables appeared to be just as appetizing and fresh. Cannot wait to revisit and try others on the menu. Sidenote: Despite arriving before noon on a Tuesday, already had a few tables of guess and about a dozen of entree placed before my order (both dine-in and to go). So it took about 25min to have all my dishes served. It did offered me a chance to observe unobstructedly into its kitchen and cooking stations from my table. Restaurant was clearly understaffed at the time, given 3 wok stations plus frier along the far walk and who-know-what-else on the other side across the serving stations. Only 3 working on both kitchen and front-of-the-house. Kitchen was exemplary clean, stainless counters and hood void of grease and stain. Quite remarkable for stir-fry dominated cuisine which demonstrated both professionalism and dedication to cleanliness. Staffs' improper attires (ie open-toe sandels) is my primary reason for deduction to service score. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $200–400 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
