We had a fantastic meal at 悅上海 and enjoyed a wide selection of classic Shanghainese dishes. The food was authentic, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. The standout for us was the 硝豬腳the pork knuckle itself was excellent, and the rich soup made from the bone was incredibly satisfying. The pricing also seemed more reasonable than 榮榮園, offering very good value for the quality. I particularly appreciated the convenient location and the valet parking service, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable. The only disappointment was that they couldn’t prepare 托黃魚, as they didn’t have sufficiently fresh 黃魚 available that day. That said, I actually respect their commitment to quality rather than serving a dish that wouldn’t meet their standards. Overall, this is definitely a restaurant I’ll return to whenever I’m craving authentic Shanghainese cuisine. Highly recommended. Price per person: $800–1,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
