We were staying nearby and came to try their egg cakes - we had the original, chocolate and oolong ones. They were delicious: crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not too sweet. Other people were having the sandwiches and they looked good too. Definitely recommend for a little afternoon snack! Note there is no obvious signage outside the shop: you need to squeeze the yellow chicken on the front door to let the owner know you would like to order Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thank you so much for visiting and for your kind review! We're really happy you enjoyed our original, chocolate, and oolong egg cakes. We always try to make them crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not overly sweet so you can truly enjoy the flavor. The oolong flavor is inspired by the local Alishan tea, which is very special to this area and to our family. And yes — our little yellow chicken doorbell is part of the fun! Just give it a squeeze and we’ll know someone is ready for fresh egg cakes. We hope you had a wonderful time in Alishan and look forward to welcoming you again for another cozy afternoon snack.
