終於又再返嚟上環熟食中心食燒味 lunch！ 今次揀咗四溢燒味飯，試咗佢嘅至尊四寶飯（$55），我特登叫少飯，仲跟咗一碗招牌例湯。 青紅蘿蔔粟米豬肉湯 湯好清甜，燉得夠火喉，好有屋企煲湯嘅感覺。 四溢燒味飯 至尊四寶飯嘅擺盤好靚，燒味份量十足，每樣都好有水準。四寶包括玫瑰紅腸、鹹蛋（我特別要求多啲蛋白）、油雞同叉燒。紅腸味道濃郁帶點煙燻香，鹹蛋鹹香分明，蛋白撈飯真係好正呀～油雞肉質嫩滑，皮油香而不膩、叉燒肥瘦均勻，微焦的邊位帶少少蜜香！ 我嘅朋友就食油雞米粉，亦都有例湯，佢都話好好食。 環境方面，我哋坐咗有靠背嘅位。Lunch peak過咗一陣，但場內依然幾旺，有本地客人亦都有外籍人士。上菜速度好快，基本上唔使等，枱數夠多，所以氣氛熱鬧但又唔會覺得好逼。 總結：四溢燒味飯依然保持水準，價錢合理，食物有誠意，值得一試。 Finally back at the Sheung Wan Cooked Food Centre for a siu mei lunch! This time I went to Sze Yee Siu Mei Restaurant (Ming Kee) and tried their Siu Mei Combo w/ Rice ($55). I asked for less rice, and it also came with their signature daily soup. Carrot, corn, and pork soup. The soup was sweet, slow-cooked with enough depth of flavor, and had that comforting “home-style” taste. Siu Mei Combo w/ Rice. The presentation was beautiful, with a generous portion of siu mei, each item done with great quality. The combo included rose chinese pork sausage, salted egg (I specially asked for more egg white), soy chicken, and char siu. The sausage was rich and flavorful with a light smoky aroma. The salted egg had a distinct savory punch, and the egg white mixed with rice was simply perfect. The soy chicken was tender and smooth, with skin that was flavorful but not greasy. The char siu had a nice balance of lean and fat, with slightly caramelized edges carrying a hint of sweetness. My friend had soy chicken rice noodles, also served with the daily soup, and he enjoyed it as well. For the environment, we sat on seat with backrests. Even though the lunch peak had passed, the place was still lively, with both locals and expats dining there. Service was fast, the food came almost immediately! With enough tables, the atmosphere felt bustling but never uncomfortably crowded. Overall: Sze Yee Siu Mei Restaurant (Ming Kee) keeps up its solid standard. Reasonable prices, hearty food, and definitely worth a visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100
