This is a real hidden gem in Taipei which I chanced upon on YouTube. Coincidentally I was in the city during one of the opening days (only three days a month!). Do make a reservation via its website ahead of your visit. I witnessed two groups of walk in had to leave with disappointment while I was here. For coffee lovers, there are lots of choices, from coffee beans to drips. The charming owner will offer options for consideration. On the menu, one can also find 滷肉飯 and tiramisu. I suggest you give both a try especially if you are a whiskey lover! Braised pork rice can be too oily for some, but with a spray of vinegar, it does enhance the flavour. Don’t finish the entire bowl as the owner will recommend adding whiskey when there’s one-third portion. Check out the video to understand his thinking! Strongly recommend if fate brings you to this cafe when you are in Taipei! Price per person: $400–600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
