Ok the kway chap here is most likely a Thai Chiu Chow version compared to what I'm very familiar the original Chiu Chow version. The curly rice triangles are about the same, uniquely Chiu Chow. The soup here is thinner and on the sweet side which can be balanced out by their recommendation--adding minced garlic vinegar. Instead of marinated or braised pork belly, here they used roast pork with crunchy skin. Flavor was good but different than those I had in years past. At $55 it was slightly expensive but still good enough to try out. Staff were quite nice.
