I always do takeouts of a whole soy sauce chicken. From many siu mei places I’ve tried I like this one the most for the taste and value. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$150–200 Food: 5 Service: 5

Typical HK roasted meat place with a bigger takeaway operation. A few tables for the lunch crowd with a casual atmosphere and pop music on the background. $48 for the tasty chicken rice dish (pictured). Other typical loo-faan (dudes' meal) such as pork belly and charsiu were $55. However lacking house soup which was offered in other similar eatery along Queen's Road.

Would have loved to try their Char Siu, which was recommended to me, but unfortunately the unfriendly staff refused to take Alipay, WeChat or any other payment method posted at the door besides cash and Octopus. The ATM next door refused my cards from several countries and you can only set up an Octopus card in Apple Wallet with a Union Pay Card to charge it. What should have been local culinary experience turned into a letdown. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
