Another cracking meal at Moon Thai. We ordered a proper spread and not a single miss. The papaya salad was spot on, spicy and fresh. Penang chicken curry full of flavour, pineapple rice done right, kaprow packed with punch, and the clam curry was outstanding. Mixed meat satay, pork neck cooked perfectly, and fresh rice rolls to finish it off. Simple Thai food done properly, which isn’t as common as it should be. Everything was washed down with ice cold Chang beer and you’re never left waiting. The people running the place are genuinely lovely and on it. Glasses topped up, plates cleared, no fuss. I’ve been coming here for around five years now and it’s still delivering every time. A true Sai Kung gem and one of those places you keep going back to because you know exactly what you’re getting. Quality food, great service, and a relaxed vibe. Just get in and enjoy it. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100

This thai food place is located in the alley not far from the mini bus terminus. The food portion makes senses and tastes not bad, just that the satay is a bit dry and not hot enough. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $200–250
