たまたま相席した人が日本人で、fish wantanとfish ballが美味しいと教えてくれた。麺は米より普通の麺がおすすめとのこと、で、それ通りに注文してみた。 スープは胡椒のパンチがきいていて、刻んだセロリ？にとっても合う。 そして、fish wantanおいしすぎ。食べたことない食感。fish ballもなかなか食べ応えあり。 隣の席の人が海苔の盛り合わせ頼んでいたので次はチャレンジしたい。 レモンティーは、結構濃いめだった。お箸が雑多な感じな箱に入っていて、やや衛生面が気になったけど、、また来たいおいしさ！. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Chiuchownese Noodle Shop in Sai Ying Pun is an absolute gem for anyone who loves traditional Teochew-style flavours. The fresh liver, fresh beef, and assorted pork ingredients — especially the intestines and pork meatballs — are all incredibly well-prepared, clean-tasting, and full of that comforting, old-school richness you rarely find these days. Every bowl feels authentic, simple, and deeply satisfying. The noodles themselves are beautifully cooked, and the broth has that understated but unmistakable Chiuchow character that keeps you coming back. It’s the kind of place where the quality speaks for itself. One tip: I’d skip the egg sandwich. It’s not bad, but this isn’t their specialty, and the real magic is definitely in the noodle dishes.
