Jian Sushi is one of the many sushi restaurants in Taipei. Beneath the harmonious beige stone and black wood façade, the dining room is like a mini-aquatic exhibition hall - a whole new world! It is vibrant but cool. There are only 14 seats surrounding the sushi chefs’ stage. Online reservation is straightforward. Guests of the same party must pre-order the same omakase course from the 3 options, namely “Sumi” (NT4,500/person), “Shuu” (NT6,000/person), and “Kage” (no limit). Servers and chefs are all professional, friendly, patient, and accommodating. The fresh and delicious “Shuu” dinner set is full of surprises! Dishes are artistically designed and beautifully presented. Highlights of the meal include the crunchy Octopus Suckers, the refreshing Salmon Roe, the succulent “Treasure Hamburger”, and the exquisite Snowy Ishigakidai!
