A place for Japanese style food cravings. They offered yakitori, and many other cooked items on top of sashimi, sushi and sweet etc. Price per person: $300–350 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Sadly their B menu doesn't have toro sashimi anymore so we went with A. $198 pp but they had a promo until end of May where if you book, you get 25% on weekdays. I think there's also 15% off weekends lunch and 25% off the other times. It is an all you can eat self order menu and includes the hotpot ingredient station, cooked food, cold food, drinks, and dessert. You get a beef slice freebie when you sit down and I think it's a better cut than the beef slices at the hotpot station? I'm not sure because it's not labelled. The menu is quite extensive and each order is 1 piece. Sashimi pieces are quite small and they come on a bed of ice. The soy sauce is on the sweet side. Tables are so small so it makes it hard to order lots. There is someone collecting empty plates once in a while. Quality of food is so so but price is good and variety is good. Come early on a weekday - they open at 11:30. By 12:30 there is a huge line up already. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5

Review: Avoid at all costs! Mainland food masquerading as Japanese. This is just Mainland Chinese food pretending to be Japanese. 1. Overpriced & Tiny Portions: I ordered the expensive set ($298), but the scallops were smaller than dried conpoy. 2. Tasteless Sashimi: The raw fish had absolutely no flavor. 3. Food Safety Issues: Desserts weren't even kept in the fridge; they were just left sitting out haphazardly on the tables. 4. Terrible Hot Pot: The beef soup base was thinner than plain water, and the quality of the beef was worse than the cheapest frozen meat from Kai Bo supermarket. 5. Not Authentic: None of the hot food options were things Hong Kong people actually eat at a Japanese spot—it was all spicy crawfish, "Xiao Su Rou" (fried pork strips), and chopped chili fish head. 6. Disgusting Noodles: The "Fresh Shrimp E-fu Noodles" looked like they’d been soaking for two days; they were bloated and tasted like nothing but oil. 7. Fake Chawanmushi: It was just a plain Chinese-style steamed egg pretending to be Japanese savory custard. There were zero ingredients inside. 8. Deceptive Advertising: The actual food looks nothing like the photos on the menu. To make it worse, they only serve one tiny piece of each item per order. 9. Poor Service: The staff are all imported labor and completely unhelpful. They didn't even bother providing basic cutlery like chopsticks or spoons. Conclusion: Chinese-style food, Chinese-style management. Stop pretending to be Japanese! I’m absolutely fuming. To top it off, two of my friends had diarrhea after eating here. DO NOT GO!! 結論講起：大陸嘢扮日本嘢 1. 加錢嗌咗個貴餐（$298），啲帆立貝細粒過瑤柱。 2. 啲刺身冇味 3. 未擺入雪櫃嘅甜品，就咁Hea晒出嚟喺張枱上面。 4. 個牛肉湯鍋，個湯底淡過水，牛肉衰過佳寶 5. 出面嘅熱食，冇一樣係香港人食嘅嘢：小龍蝦，小酥肉，剁椒魚頭。 6. 鮮蝦伊麵，個麵好似浸咗兩日咁發脹，一食落口，只有油味。 7. 茶碗蒸，中式蒸蛋扮日式蒸蛋，入邊乜料都冇。 8. 啲食物嘅真樣同佢點 餐啲相全部都唔同嘅，每樣仲係黎一件 9. 侍應全外勞，唔helpful ，筷子匙羹乜都唔提供。 中國式食物，中國式管理，扮乜日本嘢，食到火滾。 食完仲有2個朋友肚屙。 瀧本日式料理 銅鑼灣二期8樓 千祈咪去！！.
