A chic Cafe provides various sandwiches, meals, drinks and desserts as you wish. The cafe is brilliant bright, meal is fantastic and staff are friendly. Come enjoy if you are nearby. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited 狗窩 GoWoof Cafe on a relaxed afternoon in Taipei’s Beitou district. Located at 台北市北投區吉利街149巷4號, just a short walk from Qilian MRT Station, this cozy pet-friendly cafe offers a welcoming escape for both people and dogs. Although the famous 狗店長 (the resident dog manager, a black Shiba Inu named 芋粿巧) only appears in the morning, we missed meeting him since we arrived later in the day. That was a small disappointment, but the cafe itself more than made up for it with its charming atmosphere and quality offerings. The food was genuinely tasty—fresh, well-prepared, and satisfying. We enjoyed some of their light meals and brunch-style items that felt homemade and flavorful. The drinks were equally impressive: smooth matcha latte and refreshing options like lemon-based beverages that weren’t overly sweet. Portions were generous, and prices felt reasonable for the quality. The interior is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a laid-back vibe perfect for lingering. Dedicated pet areas and attentive staff made the space feel truly dog-friendly, even without the star dog present. Overall, 狗窩 GoWoof Cafe is a solid choice for a chill afternoon in north Taipei. The tasty food and good drinks create a relaxing experience. Next time, we’ll come early to finally say hello to the dog manager! Highly recommended for pet lovers and cafe enthusiasts alike. Btw, the staff there is also very nice and provided very good service
