We’ve been enjoying all the local food in Hualien, but this spot is something special. The dishes are full of fresh vegetables, and the fruit juices are especially refreshing after a few days of traveling. The owner is incredibly friendly and kind. Definitely a 10/10 experience for us! We had such a wonderful meal at Hunter’s Kitchen in Hualien that we actually went back twice during our stay! We ordered the chicken stew and the chicken curry, and both were absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Every bite was comforting and full of taste. Each dish came with rice, a perfectly fried egg, and a really fun salad that mixed both fresh fruits and vegetables. It was such a refreshing and creative combination, and everything tasted incredibly fresh. We also ordered a side of bread, which was super fresh and very tasty—perfect for soaking up the amazing sauces from the stew and curry. If you're in Hualien and looking for a place with flavorful food, fresh ingredients, and satisfying portions, Hunter’s Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. We loved it so much we came back again!
