いつも凄い行列なので、夜市が始まったくらいの夕方早めの時間に行くとスムーズに買えます。種類も複数有りますが、日本語メニューがあるので買いやすいです。 2025.05

If you find yourself at the Liouhe Tourist Night Market in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, do yourself a favor and head straight to 盛奕大腸包小腸 (Shengyi) for a hotdog experience unlike any other! Let me tell you, I was intrigued when I heard the owner had won a Japanese award for this Taiwanese hotdog. Naturally, I had to try it. And boy, was I not disappointed! There’s a variety of sausages to choose from, but I went for the number 2 – the red yeast sausage. It's got a unique flavor that you won't find anywhere else. But don’t worry, they’ve got plenty of other varieties, and I’m definitely coming back to try them all. The magic happens with the "bun" – it’s not your regular hotdog bun, but a sticky rice version that’s soft, chewy, and absolutely delightful. Then, you get to pile on the toppings – cucumber, garlic, ginger, or all of them! I went all-in and added everything, and trust me, it was the perfect combo. And don’t forget to ask for the spicy sauce – it's a game changer. I went for it, and my taste buds were dancing with joy! But it’s not just the food that’s fantastic. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and they genuinely seem excited to share their delicious creation with you. Their passion is contagious, and it just adds to the overall experience. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and grab one of these Taiwanese hotdogs. You won’t be disappointed, and I can almost guarantee it’ll be a highlight of your trip!
