Food is beautifully presented and the quality good. The service is absolutely terrible though, and I mean terrible!!! I understand people are busy, however when anyone orders brunch with coffee, the assumption would be that a decent establishment would endeavour to at least serve the coffee first. The food arrived after 45 minutes, then the coffee (wrong type) arrived 1 hour from the order after we had eaten the food. No cutlery was delivered, had to ask, then we were told, here's a fork, you don't need a knife. Honest opinion, the food is good, but the staff's rude attitude and plain incompetence is enough to ensure customers will never return to this establishment. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: NT$800–1,000 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A brunch café recommended by a staff member from the place we stopped by for a beer the night before. “We’re leaving tomorrow—are there any restaurants or cafés we absolutely have to visit?” I asked. Without a moment’s hesitation, she replied, “There’s a really lovely, atmospheric café that’s perfect for brunch.” So we went to Ke Ke Jia (科科家), tucked away in a corner of a quiet alley. With its wooden sign and warm, understated charm, it felt like stepping into a small home the moment we opened the door—an inviting space, perfect for lingering a while. A local’s recommendation while traveling is almost always worth trusting. And once again, it proved to be absolutely right.
