nice cost-performance ratio, probably one of the best in hong kong, let alone in the area, taste is good with the americano, service is good even it was only a simple greeting and hello.... feels good about those small shops in the rather down-to-earth area, feels like a friendly neightbourhood is there to help any moment. Started looking for a decent cup of coffee before my flight back from Hong Kong and stumbled upon this little gem right next to my hotel. The name “KLF Coffee” immediately caught my attention. As a Malaysian, seeing “KL” in Hong Kong was enough to make me stop and check it out. 穷L啡 The coffee prices were surprisingly reasonable by Hong Kong standards. A black coffee at just HKD25 is a great deal, almost comparable to what we pay in Malaysia. Most importantly, the coffee delivered. Smooth, aromatic and packed with a nice kick to start the day. The beans were well-balanced, not overly bitter, and the quality easily exceeded the price point. The shop itself is small, cosy and minimalist, with a friendly neighbourhood coffee vibe. Perfect for a quick caffeine fix before heading out to explore the city or catch a flight. If you’re around the area and looking for a good, honest cup of coffee without paying specialty café prices, this place is definitely worth a visit. Judging from the quality of coffee and prices they charge, their margins must be quite thin. You can taste the indivdual origins in drip bags and they are exceptional. It's all about the coffee here and none of the fluff. Similar to getting a pint at 99 Bottles on Peel St and enjoying the vibe outside. Price per person: $1–50 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
