Lao San Hot Pot (老三火鍋雞煲海鮮放題) – Mong Kok, Hong Kong Overall, we had a really good experience here. What makes this place unique is how the meal starts—you’re first served a stir-fried chicken pot, which was surprisingly a very generous portion and already satisfying on its own. After finishing that, they move on to the hot pot, where the rest of the ingredients are served. The selection was impressive, with complete seafood options and premium beef slices, making it feel like a full and indulgent hot pot experience. The broth is Sichuan-style, and it is very spicy—definitely not recommended if you have a low tolerance for heat. Service was good despite the language barrier. The staff may not speak much English, but they were friendly and made a genuine effort to assist and provide what we needed. Overall, a satisfying and unique hot pot experience in Mong Kok, especially if you enjoy bold, spicy flavors and generous portions.
