Came Back 3 Nights in a Row! My Favorite Bar in Kaohsiung Found this absolute gem, 腹閒 hiima, and it immediately became our go-to spot in Kaohsiung! It was conveniently located right across from our hotel and next to the train station, making it dangerously easy to visit... which we did! The cocktails here are seriously next-level. My personal obsession was the "Summer Outfit" – a creative blend of tea and spirits, topped with a torched dried pineapple that smelled amazing. They also nail the classics; their Negroni was perfect. The bartenders are true artists! I literally came back three nights straight, and the quality was consistently amazing every single time. The bartenders never miss! We also tried the Mala chicken appetizer, and it was so delicious and paired perfectly with the drinks. ️ If you're looking for a bar with a great vibe, incredible cocktails, and friendly staff, this is your place. An absolute must-visit for any cocktail lover in Kaohsiung! P.S. The menu is in Chinese, so I've translated their signature cocktails below to help you out! Signature Cocktail Menu Translation 1. Settled Ground (麻辣燙落定) * Ingredients: Ardbeg 10 Year Whisky, Peanut, Cherry, Pineapple, Braulio Amaro, Smoked Cardamom Cheese Ball. 2. Local Boss (地方人士) * Ingredients: Wine-infused Luye Red Oolong, Alishan Jinxuan Tea, Almond, Guangxing Paper Mill Tree Sap, Green Sichuan Peppercorn Oil, Bamboo Charcoal Peanut. 3. Wet Dream (春宵) * Ingredients: Cacao Gin, Hojicha (Roasted Tea), Aperol, Artichoke, Bénédictine D.O.M., Cinnamon, Orange Peel. 4. Sweet Rumors (甜蜜客) * Ingredients: Shanyuan Gin with Litchi & Sour Plum Shochu, Lemon, Passion Fruit, Gardenia, Black Leaf Litchi Sugarcane Foam, Salted Egg Yolk Buckwheat Biscuit. 5. Osaki Mary (大崎瑪麗) * Ingredients: Celery, Kombu, Bonito Flakes, Tabasco, Balsamic Vinegar, Bonito Dashi Soy Sauce, Tomato & Italian Savory Foam. 6. Sayoko (小夜子) * Ingredients: Auchentoshan Three Wood Whisky, Gangkou Tea, Shiso, Green Plum, Aromatic Marigold, Camellia Oil with Squid Ink. 7. Salty Breeze (鹹風) * Ingredients: Whisky, Nori (Seaweed) Paste, Oriental Beauty Tea, Sichuan Peppercorn, Lychee, White Peach, Grilled Fish-Flake Nori. 8.
