TeaWood (茶木) The braised beef noodles here are the definition of "worth the wait." The broth tastes like it's been quietly simmering since sometime last week, in the best way possible. And the beef trio mala hand-mixed noodles (cheek, tendon, tripe) is basically a beef family reunion in one bowl — mala spicy enough to wake you up, balanced enough that you don't need a fire extinguisher. The homemade Taiwanese sausage was so good we panic-ordered a second one mid-meal. No regrets. The mushroom pork soup showed up like a calm friend at a chaotic party — warm, comforting, exactly what the noodles needed as backup. That soft-yolk egg deserves its own fan club. One poke and it just commits fully to the broth. Beautiful teamwork. The brown sugar boba milk tea, less sweet as requested, still managed to taste indulgent — impressive diplomacy between "healthy choice" and "treat yourself." Closed things out with a rose chamomile tea, which felt like a hug in cup form. We ordered the "Happy Full" 2-person set and left feeling exactly that — happy, full, and mildly convinced we should've asked for a to-go box for our dignity. Great food, generous portions, zero regrets (except maybe the second sausage — worth it though). Highly recommended! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $450–500 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
