手打ちの蕎麦とうどんもあるようですが、ご飯の気分だったので天丼にしました。湯葉の天ぷら美味しかったです。タレは甘めです。お吸い物が出汁効いててお口直しにぴったりで美味しかったです。 店内ペットokは大変ありがたいです。. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

Tasty local lunch spot near Lake Chūzenji We had lunch at 観光食堂 (Kankō Shokudō) and really enjoyed it. We ordered the Maitake Mushroom Tempura with Chilled Soba (1,700 yen) and the Hot Pot Udon with Yuba and Maitake Tempura (1,300 yen) — everything was fresh, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Most of the seating is at regular tables, but there’s also a small tatami area for those who want a traditional touch. The atmosphere is relaxed and homey, and service is friendly. The restaurant is located a little off the lakefront (no direct lake view), but it’s a convenient stop between Kegon Falls and Lake Chūzenji. Note that only cash is accepted. A pleasant place for a simple, delicious meal after sightseeing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
