Hidden gem in Chai Wan Yue Wan Cooked Food Centre People always talk about Singapore’s cooked food centre/ hawker but Hong Kong is famous for their cooked food centres too! I visited the Yue Wan Market and Cooked food centre because of epicurushongkong , who mentioned this congee place called 金記 w cruller wrapped in steamed rice rolls (牛肉炸兩）。 Apparently, they are really famous for their 糯米飯too but they were sold out for the day. We also ordered beef and fish fillet congee (魚片牛肉粥）which is dotted with slices of belly warming ginger- yum! It’s a must visit when you are in the area! (sadly no English menu but that’s where Google Translate is your BFF!) Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
