We were a party of two waiting in line. When we reached the front, the staff gave us a QR code to order first. After being seated, we realised it was a high table, so I told the server we’d rather wait for the next one. But when a table became available, they seated the two people behind us instead. They said it was because those two had already been given the QR code to place their order, and even suggested that if I wanted to sit sooner I should ask the guests who had just been seated to switch places with us. The problem is I had no idea that table was a high table in the first place. We then had to wait for the next available table before we could finally sit down. At that point I really didn’t feel like eating anymore, but it was already late and I didn’t want to look for another restaurant. The staff’s attitude left me extremely disappointed. As for the food, it was just a very ordinary bowl of rice noodles. Neither the soup base nor the chicken had any particularly outstanding flavour. With service quality like this at that price, I will not be going back. Food: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I saw a lot of good reviews online, so I made a point to try it out this time. Surprisingly, even when I went at 5:00 p.m., the place was still full, which shows just how popular it is. Overall, the meal was quite satisfying and definitely worth a try. The Herbal Wine Chicken Rice Noodle arrived with a very strong herbal aroma right away. The medicinal flavor was really noticeable from the moment it was served. The chicken itself was nicely done too — smooth and tender, not dry at all. The Sand Ginger Chicken Thick Soup Rice Noodle was also interesting, with the chicken served separately, so the sand ginger flavor wouldn’t get diluted by sitting in the soup. One thing to note is that the sand ginger sauce was quite thick. The standout dish for me was definitely the Golden Tofu. It was the best version of this dish I’ve had so far — the skin wasn’t too thick, and the inside was incredibly soft and silky. It was the kind of thing that makes you keep reaching for one piece after another. In total, the meal came to $184, and overall I was pretty happy with it.
