The best local bakery here in Annan District, Tainan. You can already smell the freshly baked bread even before stepping inside the shop, which instantly draws you in. It feels warm, inviting, and very much like a hidden neighborhood gem. What really stood out to me was how accommodating the staff were to foreigners like me. In this area, I’ve noticed that many restaurants and shops tend to feel a bit hesitant when it comes to serving non-Chinese speakers, often due to language barriers. But here, the staff made a genuine effort to assist me, which made the whole experience even more pleasant and welcoming. As for the bread, everything is incredibly soft, fresh, and clearly baked daily. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. On top of that, the prices are very affordable, making it easy to try more than just one item. In fact, I’m still enjoying one of the breads I bought after lunch as I’m writing this, and it’s just as good as when I first got it. This place is truly a gem in Annan District.
