A Very Disappointing Dining Experience The staff handed us the menu without any introduction and served us the wrong drinks, which were different from what we ordered. If that doesn’t sound bad enough, it was just the beginning of our experience. As a restaurant known for roasting meat at the table for customers, the staff was surprisingly absent. They kept walking around and asked us to flip the meat ourselves. After we finished all of our meat, we realized our kimchi pancakes were still missing. When we reminded the staff, they brought the pancakes without any apology. I understand that the staff might have been busy, but they served other tables, especially those with Chinese customers, with much more enthusiasm. Furthermore, every table had a bottle of water except ours. They also didn’t give us the rice that was supposed to be included in the set. For some reason, they didn’t serve us the salads that every other table received. To be fair, despite the poor service, the hanwoo was good, but the ox-tongue was poorly roasted, and the long-awaited kimchi pancakes weren’t worth the wait. If you’re looking for roasted hanwoo in Myeongdong, you might have a more pleasant experience at another restaurant.
