I can’t really believe what a gem I’ve stumbled upon - what a restaurant! Everything is cooked perfectly: the pasta is al dente, the risotto has a bite to it, things are creamy but not at the expense of real flavour, the garlic bread has nice texture and well flavoured, and the fried chicken is crispy, flavourful and not oily at all. I’ve been to this restaurant twice in a month now, and both times I had a great experience. Portions are unusually large (we five struggled to finish the food in the pictures) and the prices are unusually low, giving you the best bang for your buck The fried chicken is incredible, I really can’t imagine how it gets better! Pasta is excellent, perfectly creamy and flavoured. Really enjoyed the truffle mushroom cream pasta. Even though it is creamy, it’s not so creamy that you feel full instantly. Tomato ham penne is perfectly al dente and tastes identical to expensive hotels. Lobster risotto had very generous portion, great lobster broth and seared scallops. Garlic bread big portion and excellent. Fried chicken is so fresh and crisply battered. I’ve never had fried chicken like this before, it’s really good. Really a hidden gem, and so inexpensive.
