The omakase buffet is excellent! The 5 courses came very quickly so not much waiting. The highlight is really the sushi. Especially love the scallops - sweet, thick, fresh. The ebi prawn as well. The unagi had a very fragrant broiled smell after the chef charred it with a blowtorch. The uni is creamy and not fishy. The ootoro is generous and thick slice. Service is awesome. Even though there's only one server for the restaurant, he still remembered my order like refilling my tea. And he's always positive sounding. The chef at the counter bar sighs quite loudly every now and then, but also sings along to the music in the restaurant. They also gave the dessert in a plate with happy anniversary. Very thoughtful. I went for the sushi omakase (5 non-nigiri courses + 15 nigiri course + miso soup + dessert). The unlimited nigiri (after the standard course) is real! Albeit, you need to finish all the rice for each nigiri to be able to qualify for the unlimited afterwards. This is part of their unlimited nigiri T&C, which I find reasonable. The ingredients are of really high quality and the chef does not skimp on the thickness of the fish on each nigiri - the rice to fish ratio proportionate, making each bite really enjoyable due to the great proportions! If you wanna make your money’s worth, this is the place to go for high quality ingredients in a rather “homey” ambience! Couldn’t recommend this place more! I would definitely come back again! P/S The 1st photo of five pieces of nigiri is what I topped up (at no additional cost). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100+
