Absolutely loved our dinner at Sushi Masa Black in Tai Kwun! The 18-course Omakase ($698) was excellent — super fresh fish, beautiful presentation, and standout dishes like the creamy monkfish liver shumai, tender braised abalone, sweet uni taco, and the signature melting foie gras tuna. The black charcoal rice is a unique highlight — it looks mysterious and adds great flavour to the nigiri. Cozy Japanese atmosphere inside the historic building, smooth Kubota sake, and friendly service. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back.
