The dumplings and shao lung bao was very nice. The pork chop fried rice was too oily, and when I told them. They said 'you could ask for less oil". LOL. The plate base rice was soaked in oil! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $100–150

The overall experience at Din Tai Fung (Tuen Mun) inside the V city mall branch was good, and the pleasant surprise was that visiting for an early dinner meant experiencing absolutely no waiting time at all. In terms of location, the restaurant is exceptionally easy to access because it is directly linked to the Tuen Mun MTR station, and convenient parking options are available right inside the shopping mall. Moving to the interior, the general restaurant hygiene standards are completely acceptable, though the staff service quality remains just average throughout the meal. Regarding the meal itself, the food is good as usual, maintaining its expected standard, and the pricing feels very reasonable for a chain restaurant. As a helpful note for future customers, the dining tables inside the seating area are packed tightly together, which means the environment is not very good for having a long chat. Fortunately, settling the bill is effortless since this chain establishment accepts all common payment methods including cash, credit cards, and Octopus cards.
