토요일 오후 2시30분쯤 아내와 함께 방문한 이탈리안 레스토랑은 처음부터 뭔가 불편한 분위기였다. 레스토랑 안으로 들어가자마자 음식 냄새가 가득해서 옷에 스며들까 걱정이었다. 환기시설이 제대로 되지 않은 것 같았다. 또한, 바닥은 정말 지저분했다. 티슈, 음식 부스러기가 바닥 여기저기에 흩어져 있었고 주문을 하기도 전에 입맛이 사라졌다. 심지어 종업원들은 이런 더러운 상태를 전혀 신경 쓰지 않았다. 15분이 지나도 정리를 안 해서 직접 티슈를 주워서 건네줬다. 음식은 우리 입맛에 맞지 않았다. 물론 맛은 주관적일 수밖에 없지만 이탈리안 레스토랑에서 기대하는 수준은 아니었다.티슈를 서빙직원에게 건네는 것을 주방장이 보았는 지 직접 와서 나와 아내에게 불편한 점이 있는지 물어본것은 좋았다. 하지만 그의 답변은 실망: 바빠서 바닥을 청소하기 힘들다 양해부탁. 더 당황스러웠다. 최소한의 청결은 유지해야 한다고 말했지만,그가 내 말을 이해한것 같지는 않다. . 이탈리안 레스토랑이라기보다는 동네 삼겹살집 느낌이었다. 분위기가 좋은 이탈리안 레스토랑을 기대하는 분들께는 추천하지 않는다. My wife and I visited the Italian restaurant around 2:30 PM on a Saturday. As soon as we entered, the lack of proper ventilation was evident, and the smell of food filled the air, making us worry about it lingering on our clothes. The condition of the floor was disappointing, with used tissues scattered around and crumbs everywhere, even before placing an order. The staff seemed oblivious to the dirty state of the floor. After enduring it for about 15 minutes, I couldn't take it anymore and personally picked up the scattered tissues, handing them to a staff member, urging them to clean the floor. Surprisingly, there was no initiative from the staff to maintain cleanliness. The food, unfortunately, didn't suit our taste. Taste is subjective, but it wasn't up to the standards one would expect from an Italian restaurant. When the chef approached us to inquire about any discomfort, I initially appreciated the proactive attitude. However, his response to my discomfort with the dirty floor left me bewildered. He mentioned being too busy to keep the floor clean, which was not a satisfactory explanation. I tried to convey the importance of at least basic cleanliness, but it seemed the chef didn't fully comprehend my concern. I had to intervene when my wife was about to express her frustration. In conclusion, this place felt more like a local barbecue joint than an Italian restaurant. I cannot recommend it to those expecting a pleasant atmosphere in an Italian dining experience.
