Tucked away near the side gate of Kyungpook National University’s College of Economics, this joint is one of those places you’re real glad you stumbled into. The jjamppong here? Straight-up legit. Deep, spicy, and packed with flavor—the kind that makes you slow down and respect the bowl. Real deal stuff. But let me be clear—the star of the show is the tangsuyuk. This ain’t your standard sweet-and-sour pork sitting under a pool of sauce. Nope. They actually stir-fry the fried pork with the sauce, so every piece is coated, caramelized, and still crispy in all the right places. Different texture, different league. I don’t say this lightly: this might be the best tangsuyuk in Daegu. Bold claim, I know—but once you try it, you’ll get what I’m talking about. If you’re anywhere near Kyungpook National University and even remotely hungry, do yourself a favor and stop by. This place hits hard.
